Yoga flows for inner calm, flexibility and strength
Classes available on ZOOM and IN PERSON
Meet Julie
Hi and welcome!
I have been teaching TriYoga in Indiana and beyond for almost 20 years, helping people with physical problems like chronic back and neck pain, muscle spasms, fibromyalgia, sciatica and poor posture. My students find strength, energy, flexibility and ease in the body. Through TriYoga, I have been able to support people in coping with anxiety, stress and trauma. My students learn to breathe, to accept, surrender and let go, and to find healing, gratitude and peace in mind and spirit.
In my experience as a yoga teacher, practitioner, massage therapist and energy worker, I have found TriYoga to be accessible and effective in supporting body and mind through all that life in these times offers.
I love TriYoga for the meditative calm and relaxing energy, for the beauty and strength inherent in its flows. TriYoga is the place where I find peace, calm and joy, where I find an ever deepening connection to my truest best Self.
And I want this for all of us!
Please join me. You will feel the TriYoga difference in your very first class!
Stay in the flow!

Testimonials
Beverly“If not for TriYoga, there is no way I would have the energy to keep up my schedule. It is the best exercise program ever. It challenges my endurance and lifts up my spirit. No matter how tired I am when class starts I have more energy and am more relaxed after we sign off. "
Katy“TriYoga is the best decision I ever made. The mental clarity I found during my very first session was a feeling I wanted to keep forever! Now that I've learned to connect with my breath, life in general is so much easier and so is my confidence:) I am so thankful to have TriYoga in my life!!!”
Kim“I found TriYoga after trying numerous treatments (physical therapy, cortisone, anti-inflammatory) for chronic lower back problems. After starting TriYoga, I had almost instant relief for my back troubles, but the most significant benefit has been groundedness, a connection to the larger spiritual world, and increased awareness of my own inner world. In her gentle, reassuring way, Julie fosters awareness of self, both physically and mentally. Her steady presence in my world has been invaluable.”
Julie“I came to TriYoga to help with balance and dizziness. I have learned to listen to my body and its needs and I have learned to understand and accept who I am. I have found the sense of community that I was seeking for so long. I have found a CALM and quiet mind which started to allow my physical body to calm and relax. I now feel more flexibility in life, and an ability to go with the flow instead of always having to know.”
Brenda M.“I first came to TriYoga for relief of severe back pain and sciatica. I appreciate TriYoga for its gentle wavelike motion, gentle flows, and emphasis on alignment and breath. The sequencing builds core strength over time and doesn’t push students to go past their capabilities. My ability to relax and focus has improved greatly, and my back pain has never returned. I have also found greater flexibility and strength, a sense of community, a better sense of well-being and a better ability to concentrate.”
Barb H.“Julie is an exceptional teacher of a graceful method of yoga practice. She is keenly tuned into how a body works and is thoughtful in her ability to respond to each student's needs during yoga class. TriYoga is strengthening, calming and increases flexibility for me unlike any other style of yoga.”
Bernadette“TriYoga is truly the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. I have found that it is helpful in stress reduction and lowering anxiety. It also provides techniques that I use even outside of class, to calm myself and to lessen discomfort from tight muscles and injuries. TriYoga has given me a way to explore my inner self in a non threatening, intimate, peaceful environment. It helps me to think in a more rational and less emotional manner during trying situations, and it makes my husband happy when I do yoga!”
Candy“I have taken various yoga classes and often wondered why my back felt “ouchy” in some of the postures. Fortunately, I found TriYoga and Julie. She has worked with me so that I practice safely and taught me the use of props to help with individual needs. Because of her knowledge I have become aware how alignment affects other aspects of my life, and how to utilize not only the physical aspect of yoga but the emotional and spiritual aspects in other areas of my life.”
Brenda W“After years of stress, anxiety and depression brought on by family crisis, loss and menopause, I developed a lot of back pain, muscles spasms and muscle knots. I tried chiropractic, physical therapy, trigger point injections and massage therapy before I found what works for me - TriYoga! I still have a ways to go and TriYoga will continue to be part of my healing process and life style.”
Steve“Julie is an excellent teacher who creates a very comfortable and supportive environment. She helps you to grow and improve at your own pace. My fibromyalgia is much improved, with muscle tone, balance, and confidence that I never had before!”
Greg"I have had chronic low back pain for over 20 years. I tried chiropractic, stretching, ice and heat, steroid and botox injections, multiple sessions of physical therapy, oblations in the right SI joint and pain medications. Everything worked but was temporary. Then I tried TriYoga with Julie. My quality of life changed dramatically within the first few months. I actually have pain free periods and when I do have pain it is mostly reduced and I can treat it myself with yoga. I don't care how good or how bad your current physical condition is, TriYoga with Julie will significantly improve your life!”
Lisa"Since practicing TriYoga, I see substantial improvements in my posture, and my strength and flexibility are MUCH better. These things are noticeable to others around me who comment on how different I look. Julie is an amazing teacher - she is gentle and caring and also pushes me to do more. She knows my body very well so that she can help me with adjustments or props and she can recommend ways for me to help myself. She creates a very caring and supportive class where we all support each other and help each other make progress. TriYoga, and more specifically Julie as a teacher, together have changed my life.”
Tina"I started my TriYoga journey unable to even touch the floor, let alone ‘relax’ and ‘meditate!’ Initially, after my first class I thought, “I don’t think this is for me.” I wasn’t sweating, I wasn’t exhausted - where was the workout? However, I decided to keep with it…and boy, am I glad! TriYoga has been the greatest investment I have ever made. It has completely revolutionized my mind and my body. TriYoga has taught me how to breathe, how to accept, how to surrender, how to let go, and how to be grateful. I am so very thankful for Gita (Julie), who guides me through my TriYoga journey with her beautiful and plentiful wisdom.”
Carole"Julie has the ability to gently lead any student, regardless of his or her ability, to their own edge and gently coax them to explore that edge while holding a space of non-judgement and compassion. She is able to see exactly what each person needs from yoga on any given day, and she is able do this with an entire room of students as well. Julie embodies TriYoga through her teaching, her lifestyle and her being.”
Matt"Julie is one of the best TriYoga teachers that I have received instruction from. Her instruction is a perfect combination of invigorating flows, attention to detail and calm abiding. My life has been deeply transformed by her instruction. I feel lighter, stronger, clearer and calmer now than ever before.”
