TriYoga is a flowing method of yoga – in fact, it’s the original flowing yoga!  But we flow, not posture to posture, but vertebra by vertebra, so it’s incredibly strengthening and graceful and deeply meditative. Movement, breath and focus are united and even in Basics, our beginning level, it becomes like a meditative dance.  It’s like the Tai Chi of yoga!

We focus on rhythmic pacing, relaxation-in-action, wavelike spinal movements, and economy of motion. We have no time to think about the worries of our lives when we are focusing so deeply!

But if that sounds daunting, don’t worry!  In Basics, we start by lying on the back, and really just learning to breathe through simple, safe and repetitive movements.  And this method is so systematic, so safe, and brilliantly sequenced, that before you know it, you are learning to relax into the flow! And as these simple flows begin to feel relaxing and meditative, we add more movements that bring more challenge and strength and deepening focus, and on and on it goes, through all the levels of TriYoga!
